About Me

Jaylene Malley

Aloha!

I’m Jaylene, a thirty-something, wife, and blogger living in Hawaii.

I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, in beautiful Coeur d’ Alene, ID and through life’s’ twists and turns, and mostly just because I love warm weather, I now live on the Island of Oahu with my husband.

I am a former elementary teacher and world-traveling adventurer.

Before and after college, I volunteered with an international non-profit organization, YWAM, in countries such as Namibia (Africa), India, China, Thailand, Phillippines, and also spent a year abroad in Europe (Amsterdam).

I started this blog for many reasons, but mostly because I want to provide a place where you can come to find some real-life style inspiration, and recommendations of my favorite beauty products including makeup, skincare, and haircare, with an emphasize on cruelty-free makeup and organic skincare.

When I’m not working on my blog you might find me strolling the aisles of Sephora or Target, going to a yoga class, or cooking in the kitchen. I love making plant-based meals, so I’m always trying new recipes! On the weekends, my husband and I are currently renovating our house, and we are likely cuddled up on the couch watching Netflix, adventuring around the island or lounging at the beach!

Although life is not always perfect, I am beyond grateful for this life I live with my loving husband and to connect with friends like you! So grab a cup of coffee and stay awhile.

xoxo
